Workshop: Engineering for Social Justice

Jon Leydens and Juan Lucena presented their job about how to connect engineering with social justice using seven wonderful ideas. They started asking how the relationship between technology and society is and how this relationship could be.

After this wonderful exercise, the presenters shows how they connect these two concepts, and start a discussion about possible critical points of this initiative.

From my perspective, this workshop was the perfect welcoming activity for the event. I think we need more people thinking about the capabilities of our community from an engineering view.
